LASIK Co-management

LASIK is a remarkable vision correction procedure, but not everyone is an ideal candidate.

Typically, the best candidates for LASIK:

• Are adults over 18 years old

• Have a stable eyeglass prescription for at least two years

• Have healthy eyes with no significant eye diseases or infections

• Current FDA approvals for LASIK allow treatment of myopia up to -12.00 D, astigmatism up to 6.00 D, and hyperopia up to 6.00 D.

• Are not pregnant or nursing

• Are not taking medications or have conditions that can affect healing or the results of the procedure
